The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. is a Danish-designed baby and children’s bed which can be pulled out to become a junior bed.
This beechwood version of The Sebra Bed was introduced on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Viggo Einfeldt’s iconic design. The bed pays tribute to the design and Einfeldt’s honest, functionalist approach to design. For the same reason, The Sebra Bed – Wooden Edition has a matte lacquered beech finish with visible grains, which places focus on the bed’s basic shape and gives each bed its own unique own look.
The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr., comes in two different kinds of wood and multiple colours. This edition is the classic and timeless Wooden Edition, which makes it ideal for every nursery and as a bed that can be passed down from generation to generation, just as the Juno bed was. The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. is treated with an antibacterial, environmentally friendly and non-toxic varnish, ensuring a cleaner indoor environment and protection of your child’s health. Microbiological silver ions, primarily used in the healthcare sector, break down and prevent micro-organisms from growing and therefore reduce the spread of bacteria. The varnish is independently tested in accordance with the restrictive JIS Z 2801 standards, including for E. coli bacteria. The varnish has been tested and approved in accordance with REACH. The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. meets the safety requirements of DS/EN 716-1:2017.
The piece of furniture comes unassembled and is easily assembled by following the accompanying instructions, which should be stored for later use.
The Sebra Bed, Baby & Jr. has been designed for children from birth up to 155 cm. Maximum weight limit: upper base position: 15 kg. Lower base position: 80 kg.
